If you’re considering or if you have just purchased your first rural property you might be toying with the idea of filling that new land with critters. When I first met Jill Marie she seemed normal enough, but when I took my girls over to her Bonsall home for the first time I realized that this woman was a regular Dr. Doolittle. She had horses, llamas, chickens, ducks, geese, cats and dogs. I could only guess how she, being recently widowed, and raising a daughter, had time to care for all these little souls. Now that we have been married for over a year I still sometimes wonder how she managed…. I know how she manages now though…. she has me take care of them! So to make a long story short I wanted to put together some information for our clients so they can find the best creature to put in that pen or barn on your new property. I have included links to sites that will help you decide which creatures are right for you, plus I couldn’t help but include photos of our menagerie. (Since our marriage we have added a breeding pair of Mini Donkeys, two baby llamas and a Quarter horse Mare and her colt)
